An Evening in Tír na nÓg…St. Patrick’s Day at St. Al’s

All you Irish and those who wish you were Irish are invited to spend an evening in Tír na nÓg (The Land of the Young), eating lots of fairy food, dancing until your toes fall off, never to grow old and where the feasting never comes to an end. Are you interested? The celebration begins at 6:00 PM and ends when the music dies and the dancing is no more.

This is a family event, plenty of bía (food), adult beverages (deoch), music (ceol), and fun (craic). A traditional Irish dinner (corned beef, cabbage, boiled potatoes, carrots, desert, and coffee, tea or clod beverage) will be served. In the midst of the festivities, our Sweepstakes drawing will be held at 8:30 p.m. and the fun continues until 9:30 p.m. You don’t have to be wearin’ the green, but you certainly are encouraged to do so.

Blessed Francis X Seelos, C.Ss.R.

Please join the Redemptorist Community on March 24, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the C.Ss.R Hall for evening of recollection. Fr. Byron Miller, Redemptorist, Director of the National Shrine of Blessed Francis Seelos in New Orleans and Vice-Postulator for the Seelos Canonization Cause, will speak about the incredible power of God through the intercession of saints, and offer inspiration from Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos—a Redemptorist priest known as the “Cheerful Ascetic”—who died in the 1867 yellow fever epidemic of New Orleans.
